Mpg new focus

Featured Replies

I have just taken ownership of a new 2019 Ford Focus St Line X,automatic 182 bop and have covered about 500 miles,on checking the average mpg  is is showing 32.3.I know I’m not going to get close to the mpg quoted by Ford, but I would be interested in other owners of this particular model what they are achieving.

I have the same, got it on 11th June.  I have done 2600 miles so far, mix of fast dcs, town and country roads.   I'm on 33.1 mpg right now.  I have found it is good mpg when cruising but round town or if you put your foot down it's not so great.  On long motorway trips it will be mid to high 40s average.

I've also found it's taken a good 200o miles for the engine to loosen up and feel like it should.
