Unable to set the clock in Fiesta Ecoboost 2019

Featured Replies

Hi, I'm new here and I'm hoping someone can help me.

I have a 2019 Fiesta Ecoboost and took it for it's first service today. Everything went ok and they did a software update as part of the service. But since then, they have been unable to set the clock/time in the car. The guys in the garage cannot figure out how to do it. I have to take it back there on Thursday but I'm really hoping to get it resolved before then because I live far from where the car gets serviced and I'd rather not travel back there again in 2 days time.

Has anyone ever had a problem like this? Or have a clue how I can fix this? Would really appreciate any replies here.

Thanks!!

You dont say what model you have but it should be as simple as pressing the "clock" icon?

It's a Fiesta Ecoboost, 1.0L - quite similar to the picture you attached

I've obviously tried going into the "Clock" settings and it lets me set the time there. Once you have the time set, there doesn't seem to be any 'ok' or 'set' button - the only option is to go back, and once I do this, it disregards the time I just entered and goes back to the default time.

I'm really at a loss with this!!

Is there a setting for GPS time, or auto time zone? Try turning them off, then set the time again. There is no ok button, manually adjusting the time should just stick.

Likewise - I just set mine manually using the up and down arrows adjacent to the hours and minutes and turn off/ignore the other options. The GPS setting doesn't take account of BST. After setting the time I go straight back to the home screen by pressing the "house" icon at top left of the screen, and the updated time is displayed on the top of the home screen.

It's a bit poor imo - my phone, tablet, tv, DVD recorder etc and most other cars I've had recently just update themselves without intervention.

Hi,

I have the EXACT same problem on the same fiesta model as you, and its driving me mad. Did you manage to find a way or sorting it out by any chance?

Just 2 weeks into this ecobooster 5 door Zetec. Clocks have just gone forward and I'm stumped like you 2 as to alter the time? Nowhere on YouTube offering nada?

help plse

As others have said, after setting the time just press 'audio' or 'home' or anything like that and it'll stay set.  It's really simple but not at all intuitive.

It's also completely unnecessary in this day and age to have to be manually changing it!!

Same kind of problem. I can set the clock in to the right time and done it many times. But when fiesta 2018 st line ecoboost started again the clock shows what he wants. Sometimes starts from 00.00 and it is going on, sometimes starts from whatever and is going on, sometimes clock is stopped for example the right time (time when the car was started). Service has recommed the updating (85€) but I don't believe, clock has worked well some years. Anybody can
