Brake lights not working

Featured Replies

Hi could help me, firstly woke up one morning and wipers and main beam were on with keys in house, took to auto electrician who said it was corrosion on the fuse box,so took it home, the following day on the way to work a message came on saying engine malfunction  and then noticed no brake light. Took back to auto elec and he puts it on the code reader and it said it was the brake pedal  switch so we booked it in today, went to pick it up and he said that he changed the switch and it still was doing the same so he says it's the bcm, he said I need another one and then it needs to be reprogrammed to the car and only Ford's can do IT!!! is this true , cause it seems to me that he's done some damage cleaning fuse box and he's fobbing it off cause he messed up

I think he was right first time corrosion in the fuse box or its conectors
