Car wouldn't start this morning. Message came up Steering wheel malfunction please service. Spoke to a few people who said it would be the battery as the ignition would not start. Now have a new battery and it says key not detected.. key locks and unlocks the car but I'm at a loss. Any ideas folks?

    Could try disconnecting the car battery, once disconnected leave for 5mins and connect again, it's like a reset.

    Had a few issues myself lately with key fob not being recognised by my car, AA reset battery both times and that fixed issue for time being.

    Might need to enter radio code again afterwards.
