HI Guys,

I put my private numberplates on retention a few months ago (before i bought the fiesta). I have just received the new tax disc for the personal plates, how long have i got to put them on my car?

    If your plate is on retention then you have twelve months in which to asign it to your next car, If you have sent the retention form away with your reg doc for the new car then you must display the new number asap or your vehicle will not show on the DVLA computer which could cause you problems if you where to be stopped for any reason.
