Impulsive Car Purchases...

One of my worst impulse purchases here...  Summer 2014, 107 Envy...which also had a horrible white vinyl roof and Envy badges on top of Allure spec iirc...   Sad thing is, over 5 years later and I still haven't owned anything newer than that!

I quite like the look of these. Can't tell the difference between the envy and allure as they come with the same wheels, tints and AC.

My budget at most is around £3k so I'm not sure they are within that. The Peugeot 107 isn't bad. It's cheap to run with £0 road tax with the face-lift from 2012. Seen a few black 5 door ones going near £2800. Was looking at the allure spec which comes with rear tints and alloys plus AC as standard. I used to have a 2007 one as my first car and parts were cheap. A clutch kit was only £37 and that was the upgraded one that was put in the face-lift 😂

Ah fair enough, I wouldn't be able to drive a 107 as I'm actually too tall! Did have a quick go in a 108 which I wasn't a massive fan of in all honesty. At least its a car you're familiar with, and like you say is cheap to run and fix 😎

How tall are you..im 6'3 and drove around in a mini in my younger days..so you would actually have a problem in a 107..ive been a passenger in one and yes they are small so to speak, but wouldnt have one as it is a proven in a car accident that small cars come off alot worse in a crash than being in a large car..[emoji11]

I am 6ft 4, I tend to fit in smaller cars semi-ok as a passenger but often the pedals hurt my lower legs and it in turn my back if I’m driving as I can’t get far enough back and down.

I wish all cars had an extendable seat base, which i dont think ive seen on a ford, but vauxhalls..usually the sporty type have this..you can wind out the front section of the seat base giving loaads more thigh support..
