Hi, just wondering if this is a Common thing? Between my door and the seat, I can see the bolt presumably holding the seat in place and the mount around it has gone rusty too (won’t let me upload image) I assume it’s from rain getting in through the window or when the door is open and tbh it’s quite an eye sore. Can this effect an mot? Anyone have a way of getting round this or does it simply require treatment and recoating?
