Not a joke this works and it works well, I did it on my focus MK2 LX 1.8 TDCI, save the diagram for when you need it, it is worth doing.

    Right let me get this straight. My insurance company WONT replace a heated screen for another heated screen even though it was on my car a factory fitted option. Well thats a complete **ss take i pay nearly a grand to insure a 1.6 and they wont even replace the screen for another heated one :blink:

    If the insurance company can find a way to get around paying out extra money, believe me they will.They don't care about you and me. They don't give 2 bits about your car and whether you insure for thousands or hundreds.You are just a number to them thats all.
