I've found this forum on Google and I'm hoping someone can help! 

Sync 3 in my 2019 fiesta active, always worked fine. Got a new iphone in september switched over fine. I had it connected on saturday, I tried to connect yesterday and it wouldn't do it. This morning I went into the Carplay preferences and deleted my iphone to see if I could re-boot it. This deleted the Carplay preferences from my settings. I did a factory re-set that didn't work, I have taken someone else's phone and connected that. 

So the Carplay now appears in my settings but won't connect. Just keeps flashing up the same 2 warnings telling me I can disabled Carplay, and then getting me to agree to Terms. Those 2 messages keep appearing over and over and never actually connects to Carplay. It has also just restarted the Sync screen. I've called the dealer who can book it in but said if it isn't covered by warranty (which I'm assuming it won't be) then its £65 for the first half an hour and more after that. Can I fix it myself?

    When you say you have done a factory reset, did you mean your phone or the car sync 3 system?

    If it was your phone you may want to try a master reset of the sync 3 system, just bear in mind it will reset any changes you have made to the default.
