Fiesta 2013 Headlight beam wrong

Featured Replies

Hey peeps, new to the fiesta club.

I've got a 2013 which has had front impact damage. Bonnet, bumper and grill have all been replaced as nothing else was damaged. However since then the headlight beam has been rather strange on the offside. I'm thinking that the projector lens has moved after the impact, although it looks normal.

Headlight is secured correctly and no damage to the mounting points.

I can't get an pictures of it right now but I'll attach a quick drawing I made.  Obviously this is quite concerning as it kicks up into on coming traffic when the beam is at the correct height.

Maybe fit a new headlamp ?

I did think of that, however it's a lot for something I'm not sure about.

The form of light beam looks ok to me, but the one on the side where opposite traffic is coming should be a tad lower than the other one. Maybe the beam height can be adjusted from the headlight assembly.

Fiesta mk7.5 right hand side traffic, headlight pattern

This is how it looks with my car. The picture has been taken in the center of the car. We have right hand side traffic.

It seems that the patterns are about the same  height but the one on the opposite lane side is moved sideways towards the center of the car. Makes sense 🙂

Check bulb is in holder correctly it could of jumped out on impact...hence the direction of it.
