Replacing 2011 Fiesta radio

Featured Replies

Good Day

I would like to find out if it is possible to install a 2015 Ford Fiesta radio with Bluetooth into my 2011 model that does not have Bluetooth.

It’s possible but requires a lot of loom work. Do a search - there’s heaps of threads in here to guide you.

I have been searching but can't find anything. That is why I came on this site hoping to get a guideline to do this.

Can you maybe send me a link to a guide or something?

Our Fiesta is 2010 and my son got a 2014 bluetooth Sony head unit with the correct screen, put it in our car and the main blue display wouldn't work, it lit up but was blank, fitted the original orange coloured display and that worked, all the buttons on the Sony head unit worked bar 'mute', obviously it has no bluetooth but looks better.

Somewhere along the lines Ford has altered something, it's not worth the hassle to mess with the electrics just to get the bluetooth to work.

Ok thank you. Will leave it as is then.

I suppose it's down to how much you really want it in the car, son has a 2014 ST which has bluetooth, he removed all his stereo and screen and removed our stereo & screen, we started comparing wires between the vehicles, looking for any differences, we could spot anything so left it alone.

Could well be altered used that computer wizardry using 'Forsan'....if i've spelt it right.
