I'm looking at buying a mk7 fiesta zetec s ecoboost that has been stage 2 mapped and is running about 180bhp but I dont know enough about them to know if it will be reliable, I dont want to get it and then 2 months down the line it blows up, the guy claims that hes never had any issues whatsoever with it, this is the engine mods list:

Airtec stage 2 intercooler

Hi Joel,

Don't know if you've looked at Pumaspeed's website but this has a link to an article from Fast Ford magazine on their 200+ps conversion, which suggests that the engine internals have not proved troublesome, but that the gearbox was showing signs of strain. Given that a fair few members on here have had gearbox issues on even a standard 140, that's the issue I'd be inclined to worry about.
