Fiesta mk6/7

Featured Replies

We have a 2013 1.5TDCI.  (63 reg  UGJC engine)

According to Wiki its a mk6 but to me, its the shape of the mk7.

What month/year was the mk7 released?

it's a 7 in the UK but a VI (roman numeral 6) in some countries. Not all countries have counted them the same.

What month/year was the fuel changed from mechanical to electrical on the TDCI Fiestas?

Mine has the UGJC engine.

assume you mean fuel PUMP. I think they all have mechanical high pressure pump driven by timing belt. On earlier ones that pump had to suck it all the way from tank. Later ones had electric pump added to get fuel from tank up to the high pressure mechanical pump. I believe IANTT explained this on this forum maybe a couple off years ago.  I am pretty sure he said my Nov 2015 Fiesta would have the electric pump. I can't remember when he said the changeover date was.
