Fault code 0017

Featured Replies

Hi guys first time post on here and i am in need of help with a problem on my fiesta st.I have recently had my engine swapped because the original engine died on me.Within about 6 miles of driving the car from the garage that installed the engine the engine management light came on and gave me the fault code p0017.I took it back to the garage and they changed the crankshaft sensor but it didn’t solve the issue. The car runs fine pulls like it should and idles fine.I know the code indicates timing could be out but surely I would see some sort of symptoms if that was the case.Any help would be appreciated because I’m at the end of my teather with the issues Iv been having and quickly running out of funds to get this car running  how it should be.
