Fiesta mk6 1.4 Tdci dash clocks sticking.

The gauges on my instrument cluster stay put when they used to sweep right down when I turned off the car.

When I restart the car they then move to where they used to rest before springing back into life. Its as if they are resetting.

My trip meter loses its memory every time I turn off the car and the radio time and date also resets on every start. If I have the side/main lights on none of the above with regards to the trip and radio resets, no sooner I turn the lights off then turn the car ignition off and then back on again it all resets back to zero. I say zero but that's only the trip as the radio time goes to like default time and date but it never loses the tuned radio stations. I have changed the radio for the same factory model but it's the same.

Whilst driving everything works as it should.

You could try this, as I had that problem.

Just unlock the car with the remote then put the key in the drivers door lock and manually lock / unlock 5 or 6 times. This cured my clock memory issue and also the false warning on the dash that one of the rear doors was open .
