On the mk8, one of the driver aids is driver fatigue warning, well I never drive long enough for that to come on, even on a trip to Cornwall, I never drove long enough for it to come on...so what does it show? has anyone else seen the display?, just curious...

Ok, I should have asked if anyone has seen Lord Lucan, or a yeti.....lol

It's not about how long you drive for, it's about how bad your driving gets compared to normal.

Start drifting over the white lines and having to massively overcorrect regularly and it should warn you.

Never triggered this in the Fiesta, but most of these things come up with a message in the info display like "Driver alert - take a break" usually with an image of a steaming tea/coffee cup.

Oo, never thought of that, mind you, if you’re wandering about on the road, I’d imagine plod would pull you over before the driver alert came on.

On average 3 days a week, I see one or two police cars in a small layby near where I live.

I usually pass them early morning around 5.30am, maybe cough, cough a little on the fast side. They haven't bothered me in a couple of years, I don't bother them haha.

Either sleeping, having a chat through the open windows or have fast food bags on the dash...
