2013 Ford Raptor Random beeping (not 3 or 5)

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,

a random beep started on my Raptor after disconnecting the battery to weld two brackets to the front bumper, also did an oil change and added accessories for the 4 auxiliary switches such as light bar, fog lights, etc.(Wires were ran by a professional installer)

I noticed yesterday for the first time that a random beep coming from somewhere in the middle of the dash started. You can drive miles and not hear it, suddenly it would do it 1 or 2 times in a block length. No pattern whatsoever. I try to see if it was speed related (accelerating/decelerating) but no response to that.

The airbag light comes on when ignition is on and no 3-2 or 5 continuous beeps. Today I'm going to check all the fuses, just in case.

When backing up, proximity sensors do not seem to work (but I think they were like that from the beginning). I have only owned this truck for a month.

I'm going to upload a video with the beeping sound and keep you updated of my findings.

Any ideas /help are highly appreciated.

Thanks!
