Hi peeps im seeing alot of this so called Backbox delete ? any mot testers on here that can confirm its legal for emission and noise pass ? and they do sound nice not noisy at all as far as im concerned , im asking as im having a Power Flow exhaust made up next month and thought if do not require a rear box and its sounds nice without the interior droning then i may omit it.

 

Any thoughts.

    It will almost certainly drone but I couldn't say how much or at what speed. What kind of driving do you do, as it will probably loudest at motorway speeds.

    I guess the drone will depend on a lot of things. Since the system in the newest ones has cats as well as the new filter, I imagine the drone would be less than in years gone by anyway.

    My last car had 5 resonators/silencers as standard and a Miltek took it down to two with no drone. So just depends I guess!
