Hello Guys,

 

I have Fiesta 1.4 TDCI from 2010 year, has 75k milage. 

I own it since may, when I've change oil + filters - from that time I've done 3000 miles.

All was working good till November, when in cold mornings problem started. I came back from work and car stayed outside or in the garage during night (8-10h) after that, when I wanted to start it engine choked, RPM on 0 for 5-7 second + grey / blue cloud of smoke from exhaust and after that it went ok, run normal. When I started it once it works ok, I could stop, start, after few hours was ok. Problem appears only after 8-10 hours and not every single day.

 

I went to the garage as I could smell diesel from engine, they've changed overflow pipe as it was broken + one injector was broken so they clean it and put new pads under all injectors.

Car run ok, but after 2 weeks I can not start it anymore. Battery is ok, engine wants to start but it's like fuel is not coming or I have no other clue... When I try to start it few times I can smell fuel from the engine...

    Immobiliser  ? Check the under bonnet fuse box and the wiring going to it under the fuse box itself , sometimes there is a bad connection from there and check earth to starting solonoid..

    Anyone has similar problem?

    It is possible that PCM software needs to be updated.
