GEM module Help Required

Hi all!

 

I need some help! I recently bought another GEM module the same as my 2007 fiesta's current but mine ended in AL this ended in CL I believe.

 

I fitted it and worked great the remote locking worked the car started etc perfect nothing wrong, then went I got another key cut so I had a spare this was tested in the drivers door... and I believe it set my cars alarm off.

 

Since then the hazards dont stop flashing so I removed the GEM put my old one back in and it all goes back to normal, but as soon as I put the new GEM back in the Hazards start flashing again, i have Forscan and tried to see what was wrong but i dont have a license to actually reset the GEM, all I can see is hood switch circuit failure and horn/panic output drivers short, battery saver relay coil circuit.

 

Please can someone help? I just want the remote locking back

    Search for Forscan and download latest software (Only the windows version will perform these tasks)

    Create an account on the Forscan Forums

    Follow the instructions of how to activate software on Forscan site

    Then you will need to purchase an ELM327 switchable lead (about £15-20)

    You can then run a self test or reset the module and even return the module to "asbuilt" condition
