Cold start issues

Featured Replies

I have a issue with starting car when cold I have a Ford fiesta mk7 1.4 tdci had new glow plugs fitted and 4 new injectors, when starting from cold car idle is poor and it smokes a lot till engine is warm then it runs like nothing is wrong there are no fault code any ideas

Glow plugs not working? Eg glow plug relay problem?

We’re the original glow plugs tested to see if they were faulty?

Glow plug where tested 2 where faulty

I'm trying to sort out the same problem. When engine is warm it works ok once it stays 8-10h it has a problem with starting.

I've checked different forums and some ppl say they updated PCM software and it helped.
