Audio button on Steering Wheel not working

HI, I have recently purchased a 2011 Fiesta Titanium and since i purchased it i have realised that the none of the audio buttons work on the steering wheel nor does the voice activation button work on the indicator stalk. from reading other threads i have tried the following to no avail! I have checked the fuses, disconnected the battery for 30 minutes and also tried using contact cleaner.

Unfortunately i purchased the car from a dealer over 150 miles away so cant relay just pop it back in there. I do have a warranty from them but wanted to try and isolate the problem first.

Any help would be great.
