Hi all,

I have a 2013 Ford galaxy with a Power-shift transmission and am having the common known transmission malfunction and transmission limited function.

ive had a garage check the codes and these are the following codes that where stored and that are pending aswell.

• P0700 Transmission control System (MIL Request)

• P172C-00 Shift fork “A”/ “B” Direction Control Valve Stuck on

• U0121 Lost communication with Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) control Module 

Furthermore At times the transmission works with out no problems at Times and then doesn't want to work and act like there is no gearbox.

Any information would be great !! 
 

Also would anyone know where the abs control module is located as I cant anywhere on the internet where it shows the location.

    solve the ABS issue first
    ABS is the lead item on the canbus and if it is having problems all the other units cant shout over it and then have there own problems
    Check the plugs in the passenger footwell, remove unplug check for corrosion and refit making sure they are firmly seated

    Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum. I'm having the same problem as Idnan. Did you solve it, and how? Tomorrow I'd like to check if the plug in the compartment under the passenger seat is dirty or something else! I'll update you. Thanks.
