Hi my 2002 2.3 galaxy came up with alternator workshop as I know it's never had one and is on 130,000 miles assumed it would need replacing so bought one fitted and hey presto still no charge same message and bat light on after checking all kinds still .no charge , I unplugged blue wire from back of alternator and bat light out still no charge so this indicates this wire is working ???? Was told to try trim it back and connect to bat live done this its charging but no bat light at all with it connected any one know other than this only issue ever had with this car is relay 30 replaced it and broken wire in rear door stopping window working at a loss now s to what it could be
