Fiesta squeaking

Featured Replies

I have a Fiesta zetec 2012, its had a squeak for a few months now. I took it to Ford for its MOT and service in November and they said the breaks needed cleaning. It has continued to squeak so I took it to my local garage this week and they said the breaks hadn't been cleaned properly. They stripped and cleaned them but it is still squeaking. Theres no specific times it happens just seems to be on and off, I have noticed it stops when the breaks are pressed though. Anyone have any ideas?

Does it only squeak over small bumps but not large potholes? Or does it get louder/stop when you use the brakes?

It may be the rear axle bushes are needing replaced

It's just in general when driving, not specifically when going over bumps and it stops when I use the brakes

Do the discs have a lip on them? and how worn are the pads?
