Ford Fiesta titanium radio won’t turn off and is making the battery dead

Featured Replies

So my radio on my fiesta 62 plate will stay on sometimes when I turn the car off and the display will stay lit which ends up killing the battery when I leave it overnight. I’ve tried taking out the fuses and this turns the display off but once the car is started again the problem starts again. Also it keeps saying one hour mode when I turn the car on, how do I turn this off? And lastly the clock on the display won’t allow me to change the time.
does anyone have any idea what could be causing these issues and how to fix them ?

Hi

This sound like the sync 1.1 is crashed. Is the car has the Sony unit? I know 62 plate had the option?

Try to do a reset of the Sync also if all fails disconnect the battery and live it for an 1 hour to full reset the system.

I have this problem too with my 60 plate s1600 non Sony head unit should I do the same thing once I have enough charge in my battery to start it again?
