ford fiesta mk8 headlamp replacement

Hi,

I'm looking to replaced my headlamp entirely as its been cracked, when I've taken the 2 screws and and plastic plug holding it on. I'm struggling to remove it as the top part seems to be on a lip and no matter how i wiggle it around to free it, its just not budging.

Any help?

    That review is for a Fiesta 7.5 rather than a mk8.

    On the underside of the headlight, there is a metal pin that fits into a hole underneath the light, so you have to tip it upwards and towards the windscreen.  Difficult to explain (in fairness I wasn't able to do it so I took it back to the supplying dealer and asked them to show me.  My car has the halogen bulbs rather than LED, but the headlight shape looks the same so I assume its the same.
