Battery

Featured Replies

I have noticed over the past month or so my battery seems to be "charging" a lot as my stop start has not been working. I do about 1200 miles each month so the car gets used a lot. I was cleaning the car this message and got this warning about the screen turning off, and that i should turn the ignition off, but my ignition wasnt on? Is it worth me taking the battery out to charge it? As driving doesn't seem to be charging it fully at the moment? Or it just could be because cold weather?

What year of car? Most batteries have a 5 year warranty

I'm sure someone will correct me but don't ford batteries from the factory only come with a 3 months warranty as it's considered a consumable item. But if brought aftermarket then the warranty is 3-5 years depending on the battery?

It's a 69 plate, got it at the start of october

Shouldn't be much wrong with a 4 month old battery.   My last Fiesta had stop start and I sometimes used to put a trickle charger on overnight.

Mine does it, nothing to worry about.
