Boot Unlocking Whilst Driving

Featured Replies

My 2012 Fiesta has taken to unlocking the boot as I am driving along. Looked on previous Forums and decided to change the boot lock. This did not solve the problem, in fact when parked on the drive with the boot up I can hear what sounds like the boot central locking clicking every 5 seconds.

If I close the boot and quickly lock the car with the key fob then all is secure. The boot unlocking does not occur every time I drive the car. I changed the battery in the key fob

Any suggestions please

Finally sorted this, it was the actual boot unlocking button just above the number plate which was full of water
