Hydraulic clutch problem

Featured Replies

I an having problems bleeding my clutch on my fiesta st150 2006... i have replaced the master cylinder,  pipe and slave cylinder. Tried to pressure bleed the clutch but no joy in getting a good clutch pedal, any ideas ?

the way I did it on a friends 2004 fiesta 1.4tdci. topped up reservoir. made sure reservoir was clean around the top, undid bleed screw. put my mouth over top of reservoir and blew hard until a load of fluid had gone down. seemed to work fine. doing it the traditional way pumping the pedal was hopeless.

when you say pressure bleed I am not sure if you mean effectively same thing or reverse pressure bleeding by pumping fluid into bleed screw.
