Syncing music Fiesta 2012

Featured Replies

Hi. I've just switched to a Fiesta (2012) and I'm a bit fathomed about the technical stuff. I'm wanting to play music from a playlist and want to know the best way and how to do it. I've tried to link up with Bluetooth to my phone but not having any joy. There's a usb port, can I stick in a memory stick with music in and this will play music? Are there any good guides regarding this?

Any info gratefully appreciated.

Craig.

Yes, you can or should be able to use a USB stick with music on.
Have a completely empty USB stick and connect to PC.
Open up the file explorer and select the USB stick. Once in the USB stick folder, create a new folder called Music. You can then transfer music files into the music folder.
Once that's done, safely remove the USB device from your PC.

When you go to your car, insert the USB stick into the USB slot. To select the USB, press the AUX button. This should then read the USB stick and start playing music.
You can then press the options button and select shuffle, repeat etc.

Thanks. I will probably have to buy one at the weekend as I'm not sure if I have one lying around somewhere. Until then, can I play songs from my phone. I have the usb charger in the car and thought when I put it in the port it would load up. Do I just need to press the AUX button?

Normally only once but yes i pressed aux and away i went , i do believe it says Sync if it has not already done so or you can go into menu and sync it from there.
