Just toying with the idea of replacing my car, as it’ll be three years old later this year, so just out o& interest I went on the ford website just to spec up a car ( fiesta) it seems that all the equipment has been changed, I have a titanium that I added reverse camera, rear sensors, rear electric windows, now it seems that some stuff is now part of a pack, stuff that was standard on mine, traffic sign recognition, high beam assist, are now part of a pack, inc camera and sensors about”£ 900, even the titanium x adds these as part of a pack, so it looks like you cannot just have a reverse camera and sensors for £250 anymore,

Nope, prices, packs and as standard items have changed now for the latest models. They change regularly.

If I read the price list correctly, the Titanium comes with rear sensors but to get the camera, it's bundled up with a lot of other stuff in a pack, similar story with the model I have now. Rear sensors and camera were £250 on that also when I ordered, now rear sensors are standard. I like the camera, but there's no way I'd fork out £550 (I think it is) for a load of stuff I don't want, to get one,  so I'd probably make do with sensors only. It also looks as the Titanium no longer has EATC either.

The way to approach it may be to list your "must haves" and "don't wants" and then see what in the range is the best fit, rather than necessarily replacing a Titanium with a Titanium or whatever.

At the moment, as Martin says, they seem to be changing the price list every few weeks which makes things difficult for those of us who like to plan ahead. I suspect the fact that so many of the models are tagged "Edition" at the moment suggests further changes to come soon - the Fiesta is definitely in line for mHEV fairly soon, for example.

Yes, all very confusing, but I’m not sure I’d like paying for extras I don’t want, it was much better when you could just pick what you wanted

Can only agree, but to be fair us Yorkshire folk don't much like paying for stuff we do want either!😀
