Jack_P
I've been thinking recently could i invest in a classic ford aswell as keeping the fiesta? Now i know we all have our dream desires ( lots of RS and Cosworth fords running through my head right now) of a classic ford. Recently heres what ive been thinking. Not quite the RS Turbo, but its little brother the rs1600i. Its in currently in possible purchase range ( around 2kish for one that needs attention and about 3-4k for a low millage well kept/ fully restored one) for myself whilst still keeping the fiesta also! Classic insurance if i could and i think it would keep an itch well scratched for now :) Best thing about it aswell is that the prices have hardly moved in recent years so if i was smart and got a decent one, it will still hold the value of when i come to sell! Anyone else got the same ideas?

It's still amazing looking today imo! Set you back £100k for a decent genuine example though ...

There has been one for sale near me for well over 20 years now, £125,000. I did read a good article though about the RS200, along the lines of "Never meet your hero". Was an absolute pig to drive. For me, it would have to be a MK1 RS2000.
