Engine Won't Start, Fuel Problem?

Featured Replies

Hi guys, I've recently had some problems with my '89 Fiesta. When I press the clutch pedal, and the engine gos down to idle rpm, it dies. This happens every once in a while, and I've just kinda lived with it for now. It has also been coughing and skipping some beats when driving normally.

But this morning it wouldn't even start at all! I'm suspecting it might have something to do with the fuel supply, perhaps the fuel pump. I also have a feeling that the spark plugs may be the problem, but it is normal that everyone dies simultaneously? The starter engine is turning and working OK, but the car won't start still.

Any input on this issue would be greatly appreciated. I sort of was hoping to take an Easter holiday trip on Wednesday ...

Cheers,

Skavold.
