Rain Sensor Windshield Wipers

Featured Replies

I have a 2012 Focus SEL.  How do I permanently disable the rain sensing function and be left with intermittent, fast and slow functions of my wipers?

I don't think you can.   Not sure why you would want to.   I have them and they're brilliant.

You can disable it in the "settings" menu on the Mk 8 Fiesta (and I think the Mk 4 Focus) and it reverts to normal intermittent, but I couldn't do it on my previous Fords with this feature (Mk 7 Fiesta, Mk 2.5 Focus, or Mk 2 C-Max), so doubt it would be possible on a 2012 Focus. The SEL is not a UK model though, so the specs may differ in your location.

I have reverted back to manual intermittent on my 7.5. The option is in the menu. Page 46 in my hand book.
