The ford transit I'm currently a passenger in has a fuel filter blocked message on the digital screen. With an Amber warning light. We have a 2 good journey to st agnes and 3 hours back home. Question is, will we make it? Or will we encounter more problems down the line.  I'm no mechanic but my colleague who's driving says that the fuel will still trickle through but eventually when the engine realises it's not getting enough fuel to power it, or will idle and not go above 20mph! Is this true?
