Front passenger central locking Actuator fault

Featured Replies

Hello people. Please can anyone advise me further. I have a 2014 titanium and the central locking doesn't work on the front passenger side. The electric windows and mirrors still work, but the door won't lock or unlock with the central locking, how will lock if done manually. I think iv whittled it down to a faulty actuator but before I start stripping it out and buying a replacement, I wanted to find out if it's possible to remove the actuator without having to actually undo and take off the whole handle as well. Could anyone else suggest anything else I might have missed when trying to diagnose, i have checked the wiring loom and any fuses. The actuator makes a clicking noise when lock pressed on the key fob but the cable doesnt actually move.

One thing I was wondering was whether something could have been broken as my son constantly yanks on the outside handle before the cars unlocked, maybe he was pulling handle whilst the actuator was unlocking and something broke ????

Many thanks people as this is driving me mental trying to fix.
