Frustrating leaking footwell fiesta mk7

Featured Replies

Hi,  have fiesta mk7 and have water leak in passenger footwell I just can't figure out, looked every were, no water from matrix.

Took off panel under bonnet and sealed the grommet under there. Seems to be coming from around area in photo under the wires.  The hole behind seems to fill up too.

Anyone come across similar. Stuck with what to do next.

Many thanks, Ben.

Wait for a sunny day. Try ***** some dry tissue paper into a ball with some string on it and push it into the hole. Around the bonnet hinges pour some water from a watering can and check if the tissue ball gets wet. Water might be pooling and running through a hole that needs sealing.

As a last resort I would drill a small hole in the still to let the water drain out.
