hello to all

mine is mk8 fiesta 1.0 ecoboost 100ps automatic , my paddle shifters works fine in S gear mode , but the owner's manual indicates that they should work in D mode also but temporary , however they never worked in D for me , neither for any of my friends with the same car , so do they work in D for you ? thank you very much 🙂

Yes, they work in "D" but only for about 3-5 seconds, if you don't touch them again the car goes back into "D".

In "S" mode the car will stay in manual mode until you go back into "D"

that's really strange , they don't work in D for me or for all mk8 owners I know in Egypt !! when you activate them in D do they show any gear selection indication on the display ?

Yes, it shows "D1, D2, D3 etc etc"

In sport mode "S1, S2, S3 etc etc"

I have just noticed that you are not in the UK so this must be a configuration difference for your market
