Fiesta mk6 1.4 tdci

Featured Replies

Hi I’ve got a 2008 1.4 tdci I got it as a non runner I unplugged the injectors 1 at a time then cranked it I started at 4 and when I got to number 1 it fired up so I changed number 1 for a second hand injector out of a fiesta I got for spares that is a runner and it’s still the same won’t start with number 1 plugged in. It gives code p1213 any help please

Might be a silly question but you did code them in right? The petrol ones don't need coding but the diesels do.

It’s a mk 6 2008 diesel I’m led to believe only 1.6 need coding not 1.4

Also would it still not run on 3 if it wasn’t coded but was plugged in as the car will start with it being unplugged

I don't really have first hand experience but I thought on injectors that needed coding and hadn't been coded, they would still run but not as good as they should.

this talks about p1213 being fixed by someone inspecting loom and finding broken wire:

When I read the first post on this thread I did at first think it needs the wiring checking.
