Courtesy light issue

Featured Replies

Good morning.

I have an issue. I removed the courtesy light of my Ford fiesta and I think I did something wrong.
After connecting the courtesy light, I discovered that now in the connector there is a missing wire (see White connector)
The problem is illustrated in the picture.
On the single wire connector, the green one, I have +12V.
I don't know what should I connect on the white connector, the one with blue wire.
I would like to avoid buying the Haynes manual, I think it costs more than a professional fix.

At present time, when I use the front light, the central button position put the  light always on, also if door is closed.
The left and right position put the light always off, also if doors are open.
The rear courtesy light works fine. Any help will be appreciated.
Best regards
