Morning all! This is my first post on the forum as new S-MAX owner.

I picked up a 09 reg 2.0 TDCi S-MAX on Friday and all was well. On Sunday, I noticed that the engine appeared to have become noisier with a sound similar to an exhaust blowing. The engine noise has also become more noticeble inside the car. I took it to my Ford dealer yesterday who told me that they could hear the noise but did not know what was causing it.

Has anyone experienced anything similar? My car has covered 5500 miles.
