Bulb change, headlight out?

Featured Replies

So I've just bought some new bulbs to replace the pitiful H15 drl/main beam and some H7's as well.

Had a quick look last night and am I right in thinking the headlight's need to come out to change the bulbs?

2013 (facelift) Zetec S Ecoboost. From what I can see you'd need the hand size of a doll to change the H7's on the passenger side because of the crap position of the washer bottle and fuse box.

I had a quick go of changing the driver side H15, was a pain to get the original bulb out because of the grey sticky out thing for the sidelight, couldn't get the new one in (partly because of that grey thing and I couldn't twist it to get the 3 connectors into the black bit) so gave up and just about got the old one back in.

So I'm definitely thinking headlights out on the weekend.

Yes defo a headlight out job, much easier and will save your hands from taking the punishment :-)

Cheers! Yeah my knuckles aren't thanking me for the little cuts I have on them from it 😏

Headlights out it is!

Once you've done it the first time it's easy enough if you ever need to do it again.

I found this video the first time I needed to take the head lights out:

Thanks for that Yaz.
