Hi all, i have a Fiesta on a 64 plate and recently fitted the sony DAB with NAV. Now regarding the FM/AM/DAB/BT Audio all works perfectly but the voice that tells you vehicle prompts and NAV directions is no longer working, And on the more anoying side when on a call with BT the caller can here me talking but i cannot hear them. ( the vehicle had SYNC BT before the sony upgrade and all worked fine )

ive done a SYNC update and looked with FORscan but no joy!

If anyone has any ideas please help

have you tried turning the volume up when the nav is giving its audio instruction and when a call is in progress as these volumes are different to the radio volume despite the fact that they are adjusted with the same knob.

The Nav issue is most likely you are missing the pins for Nav audio between the main unit and display

ahh ok i will give this a go thanks but any idea on the BT call Audio?

 

In Forscan, look for, Integrated Control Panel (ICP), put, Branded "something" can't remember exactly.

I have Standard ICP from factory, when i upgrade to radio Sony, i only have acess to 6 numbers, 7,8,9 and 0 dont do nothing, maybe is changing something else also, dont know.

 

oki i now have nav audio!! thanks for the link guys.

but i still have no call audio, ive changed the ICP and still no joy. any other ideas
