Options to Retrofit Head Unit

Featured Replies

Hi All,

I am looking to buy just a cheap runaround Fiesta (mk7 59 plate) for work aswell as for my son to learn on. The ones I have seen come with the standard non bluetooth unit, or if i am lucky phone bluetooth. I would really like to have audio over bluetooth as well as hands free. I have seen on ebay used Sony head units for the fiesta, with and without sat nav. I really dont care for satnav, as I use my phone. Are the ones without satnav (and no screen) able to be easily swapped over with the standard headunit?

Is this the best option to get audio over bluestooth?

Thanks

Nick

Nope wouldn't work. You need the sync module for it to work

You can swap out your non Bluetooth module for one equipped with Bluetooth (it’s located below the glove box) you need to replace it from a fiesta mk7 pre facelift (59plate - 12plate) and make sure the car it’s from was equipped with Bluetooth.
Hope this helps
