.. but i cannot find the thread i was reading a week ago.. it was about retrofitting a usb port to a Mk7 with bluetooth and 6 speaker system already installed.

is it indeed possible and is there a thread regarding it, or was i misreading?

pleeeeeeaaase, anyone... can you retrofit the usb port if you have bluetooth and 6 speaker setup??

Pop the trim off the back where the rear speakers should go and if there is wiring then you should be able to fit speakers. On the usb front im not sure but if it is simerlar to retrofitting bluetooth it will proberly cost a fortune.

i deffo have speakers in the rear, can pan the sound all the way to the back.

if i can put in usb will the wiring be behind the centre console trim?

I'm sure i read a thread about this where the guy changed everything the bluetooth module stereo and retro fitted the usb but to no avail it never worked he even took it back to fords and they couldn't sort it so i would say it can't be done shame because i would of liked it aswell :( :(

That was outside dagenham motors at the main dealership in dagenham essex the day i picked it up what about yours ??

yes edgware is just outside london and the dealerships are vertually identicall small world indeed and thanks jason for the comment :D
