Focus MK4 Information Screen

Featured Replies

Hi Guys

My 18 plate Focus ST-Line MK4 information screen is black/white (Monochrome) - but all the others i've looked at are RGB colour.

Anyone have any idea whether the colour screen was an optional extra or part of a pack / trim line for the mk4? Bit puzzled.

Cheers

If it’s anything like the Fiesta, the colour screen comes with the traffic sign recognition amongst other things. Besides that, I don’t think it really makes much difference.

My Titanium did come with an Information Screen with some colour, a bit of Blue and some Green at times, but to tell you the truth you are not missing much. It is Black and White almost all the time.

Have you got Nav?

Models without nav got the lower spec cluster I believe

Ah that could be it then as I didn't get Nav in mine, due to Android compatibility. What a rip 😡.

Anyone know if you can just switch out the clusters without faffing around with Forescan? 😛

I think the colour screen is in the ST Line X but not the ST Line .

Ford Nav is nothing to do with phones.

Again ST Line X has Ford Navigation, standard ST Line doesn’t.

My ST-Line Fiesta had nav but still the monochrome cluster display, could be different on the Focus ofc.

Sorry, never meant that NAV was anything to do with phones. I meant I use maps via Android Auto so no point in having the NAV S/W

I see. I’ve got Ford Navigation but prefer Apple maps.

Most of you are lucky. I just purchased a 2023 Focus ST line with Sync 4 and the small centre screen is totally different to what it should be. It has got no information/select screen option so I cannot access the tyre monitor. According to the build spec it is fitted and I get the tyre icon in the dash when you switch on. On the screen I get digital speedo, fuel economy, eco coach and calm screen, nothing else. No matter what you do with the steering wheel buttons it will not deviate from those 4 settings. HELP.

I'm not sure if the smaller cluster is the same, but on my 2023 ST with full digital cluster, you press the button on steering wheel with the 3 horizontal lines. This takes you to a settings screen where you can select what screens are displayed. Put a tick next to the tyre monitor and then it shoukd display when you cycle through the screens.

In reply to SPARKYMATT I have just purchased a 2023 focus ST line and the access to the tyre monitor is totally different. When you press the three line button you get a choice of 4 screens, digital speedo, fuel economy, eco coach and calm screen. So, how do you access the tyre monitor? Answer, you select calm screen then use the small "ok" button going up and down then you will see the tyre monitor and oil life icons and the option to update them.

So the handbook is totally wrong.
