54 fiesta zetec

Featured Replies

Hi to all whom can answer, I have a 54 fiesta zetec, my speedo needle is below the 0 position around the 6 mark if it was against a clock so when I’m driving it’s like 20mph below what it should be, I have tried the reset on dash and needle just juggers back and forth... do I need new clocks? Speedometer sensors? ThAnks!

Did it just suddenly go like that on its own. You might be able to pull the needle pointer off and put back in different position. I have dismantled it on a mk2 focus and it was easy. Don’t know if yours is as easy

I’m not sure, recently bought the car. that was my idea wasn’t sure if I could remove the front casing and re position the needle myself, or if it was a sensor issue etc. Not much informantion to be found so far! Thanks
