mk6 alloys on a mk7 fiesta

Featured Replies

After a bit of advice please as i am not very well informed on cars. My son has just bought a 2012 fiesta 1.2 style with 15 inch steel wheels. He has been offered a full set of 16" alloys plus really good tyres off a mk6 fiesta for only £40.00. i think the model of alloy is a fusion? it looks very similar to fit. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/FORD-FIESTA-MK6-7-6-SPOKE-16-ALLOY-WHEEL-one-only-just-been-refub/143557550495

will these fit with out any problems?

thank you in advance for any help

Matt

Will fit. You will need the proper wheel nuts from those alloy wheels. Insurance implications. I wouldn’t pay until I had mounted each one on rear hub and spun it round to check not bent, especially on the back of the wheel. Alloys like this with low profile tyres bend easily on pot holes.

You're not wrong about checking for distorted alloy wheels and to get a wheel straightened can easily cost anything up to £60 each.
