Rear Bumper

Featured Replies

Hi,

I have a 2009 Ford fiesta Zetec 1.4 petrol, and I dont like the rear bumper, I want to put the Ford fiesta MK 7.5 titanium rear bumper on it. Does anyone know if this would fit or is that not possible at all?

The picture below is the bumper I want, and the picture below that is the car I have.

Are you planning on changing the bumper as one unit from a later car? If so it will be a straight swap.

I've always wanted to do the same but one thing that stops me and that's the colour match of the replacement bumper, I've seen this bumper swap done many a time but every time the colour match has always been awful, all down to who does the respray isn't it, plus the rest of our car has no side sill covers or front lower cover, so the rear spats would look odd.

Have you thought of buying the rear insert [the black part] only ? The end sections will need to be filled because there's cutouts for the spoilers spats.

Secondhand one here:

The bumper shown in your "want" photo is a Zetec S, not a Titanium. If it's just the diffuser you want, you should be able to swap that part over, as Ian suggests.

The whole assembly as shown has the "spats" which would probably look a bit odd unless you are fitting the whole bodykit.

That's the main reason why I've never done it, saying that I did enquire with ford about the four door sill covers and the front part for the bumper, in total it came to about £600 for everything, then there would be the paint job which would easily be well over £300, so I kicked the idea in the head.
